  REGISTRATION & ADMISSION STEPS
  Admission is open from standard Nursery to +2 (age +5 to 18) for both Boys and Girls.
 2. Children are to be registered for admission anytime between early December to early April with payment of non-refundable Registration Fee of Rs. 200/- for Entrance Test. The Entrance Test is scheduled every Friday (except National Holiday) from December to April.
 3. The PROSPECTUS attached with the Admission Form is available from the Academy office on cash payment of Rs. 310/- or by post on payment of Rs. 360/- (Submitting the Bank Draft in favour of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy, payable at Roopnagar).
 4.  The total amount of Rs.510/- (in cash) or Rs. 560/- (by demand draft) must be deposited in the Account Section in order to register a student for Entrance Test as well as to get the copy of Prospectus duly attached with admission form.
 5.  After depositing the required amount, Parents may receive the following documents from Admission In-Charge:
 
 a).  Registration Letter with Entrance Test Date and Time.
 b).  Prospectus
 c).  Academy Medical Record
 d).  Academy Brochure
 e).  List of Required Documents for Admission
 f).  Syllabus for the Entrance Test
6.   Parents must bring the Admission Form (found in the Prospectus) with them on the Entrance Test Day.
7.   Parents will have to arrange themselves to produce their ward for Entrance Test on the given date.
 8.    Passing of Entrance Test is must to get Admission into Academy.
 9.    Parents of the children selected for Admission will be required to deposit the fee and funds within TWO DAYS after the Entrance Test Results.
   
  DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION
 For Day-Boarders:
 1.  Academy Admission Form.
  2.   D.O.B. certificate issued by MC/Hospital/appropriate Authority accepted by Govt. of India. (Returned after verification) & TWO duly attested copies of DOB.
 3.  Original School Leaving Certificate.
  4.   Original Detail Mark Sheet (DMC) of last examination passed.
 5.  Medical Report Card given with the prospectus. (Duly filled by the Doctor not below the rank of M.B.B.S.)
 6.  3 P. P. size photographs of the child.
   For Boarders:
 1.   Academy Admission Form.
2.  D.O.B. certificate issued by MC/Hospital/appropriate Authority accepted by Govt. of India. (Returned after verification) & TWO duly attested copies of DOB.
3.  Original School Leaving Certificate.
4.  Original Detail Mark Sheet (DMC) of last examination passed.
5.  Medical Report Card given with the prospectus. (Duly filled by the Doctor not below the rank of M.B.B.S.)
6.  Valid Passport and Resident Permit in respect of Foreign and NRI students.
 7.   3 P. P. size photographs of the child.
 8.   2 P. P. size photograhs of the Parents/ 3 separate P. P. size photographs of authorized guardians/visitors.
 9.   Parents to submit the Immunization Record vis. BCG, DPT, Oral Polio Vaccine, Hepatitis B vaccine, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella); Measles Vaccine, Tetanus, Typhoid Vaccine and Haemophilus Influenza Type B of their ward.
10.  The Photostat copy of the card issued by the family doctor or hospital may be submitted with the Admission Form.
  Note: These Certificates/Documents are to be handed over to the Admission In-charge after the Admission has been confirmed.
   
  PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Fee & Funds are to be deposited within TWO DAYS (working) of Admission Date.
2. If a students discontinues after due admission and deposit of fee and funds. The fee & funds in such a case is forfeited (there is no provision of refund or adjustment).
 3.  For Day-Boarders, there are Four installments in a year while the Boarders are supposed to make 100% payment during the Admission.
 4.  For Boarders, If in a particular case Principal/Director allows the payment of fee & funds in two instalments then the first instalment of 60% of the total amount is to be deposited before 31st August of the same year. For the payment of second instalment no reminder is sent by the Academy rather parents have to deposit the fee on the prescribed date and time. Non-depositing of second instalment in time causes a fine of Rs. 100/- per day which is upto seven days only afterwards the name is struck off from the Rolls of the Academy. The parents will have to apply for re-admission while depositing full fee and funds of the running session. No application in regard to enhancement the time to deposit the second instalment is entertained.
5. The fee is to be deposited by Cash or Demand Draft, (if by Demand Draft then it should be in the name of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy, payable at Roopnagar).
6. In case a student who has deposited 60% fee and funds and leaves the Institution in between then no request for school leaving Certificate/refundable material etc. is entertained unless and until the second instalment of fee and funds is deposited.
7. There will be 10% per annum increase in the Fee.
8. If the parents deposit the fee & funds less than amount due on the prescribed date, the fine of Rs. 100/- per day is applicable by the date of making the final payment
 
Provisional Admission
 

Admission to +1 is subject to passing the entrance test and is carried on Provisional basis. The student after qualifying the test and the interview deposit 60% of the prevailing fee and funds of the session, both in case of day-scholars and boarders. (The parents are at liberty to deposit full fee and funds in one time (instead of 60%) but in case of failure of their ward in Tenth class would be getting refund from the 60% of the total amount).  If a student fails in his/her respective 10th class board examination then the admission to +1 is discontinued and in such case he/she is refunded the fee and funds deposited with the Academy after deducting the genuine expenditure incurred on the studies, loading and boarding at the Academy. If a student passes his/her 10th class board examination but wishes to discontinue at the Academy, no request for refund of fee and funds is entertained.

   
  Advance Admission
  The parents are at liberty to make the advance admission of their ward to avoid the non-availability of the seat.
