Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy celebrated Ozone International Day on September 16, 2013 in which the students were highlighted about the need to protect Ozone layer.

Two senior science teachers and one senior student enlightened the students about why is it important to protect Ozone layer? And also told them about the history of Ozone layer formation and harmful impacts on organisms. The teachers also explained the benefits of Ozone layer on stratosphere.

After listening to the valuable knowledge imparted by the teachers the students of the Academy took pledge to save Ozone layer by using less CFC's and its substitutes.
