The students of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy (Residential School), Roopnagar have won laurels in CBSE XII (Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce & Arts) 2016-17 and has shown an excellent result in the area. Miss Priyanka Rana bagged first position scoring 94% marks, Miss Jaspreet Kaur bagged second position scoring 92.6%, Miss Ravneet Kaur bagged third position scoring 92% marks, Miss Ramandeep Kaur bagged fourth position scoring 90.2% marks, Fifth position is bagged by Miss Garima Bhargav scoring 89.9% marks, Sixth position is bagged by Miss Anuradha scoring 89% marks, Seventh position is bagged by Miss Bhawandeep Kaur 88.6% marks, Eighth position is bagged by Mr. Aditya Anand scoring 87.8% marks, Nineth position is bagged by Miss Simarpreet Kaur scoring 87.6% marks, Tenth position is bagged Miss Tanvi scoring 85.2% marks and Eleventh position is bagged by Miss Harmanpreet Kaur scoring 85% marks.

They remained most promising getting highest percentage of 99% marks in Biology, 96% marks in Punjabi, 95% marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & Political Science, 94% marks in Economics, 93% marks in English & Physical Education, 92% in Information Practices, 91% in Business studies and History.

The Director of Academy, Sukhjinder Singh congratulated the students, parents and the staff of the Academy saying, "The credit for the marvellous result goes to teachers, students and the parents due to their team work, potential and support as they left no stone unturned in their efforts." Principal of the Academy Mr. Rajan Chopra congratulated the students and said, "Hard-work and commitment towards goals is the only way to achieve success". He also briefed the students about their responsibilities towards parents and society. He advised them to develop all-round personality to tackle future challenges also. He assured the parents to give marvellous results in future also.
