Ropar: May 02, 2019 - The students of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy (Residential School), Roopnagar have won laurels in CBSE XII (Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce & Arts) 2018-19 and has shown an excellent result in the area.

Miss Meenakshi Rana bagged first position scoring 97.2% marks, Miss Harnoor Kaur bagged second position scoring 96%, Miss Raina Vasudeva bagged third position scoring 95.2% marks, Miss Jasleen Kaur bagged fourth position scoring 93% marks, Miss Amandeep Kaur bagged fifth position scoring 92.6% marks, Miss Jasleen Kaur bagged sixth position scoring 92.2% marks and Miss Riya Chaddha, Mr. Sanyam Jain, Miss Jasleen Kaur, Miss Bhawnoor Kaur bagged seventh position scoring 91.2% marks. The overall pass percentage is 97%.

They remained most promising getting highest percentage of 99% marks in Political Science, History & English, 98% marks in Physical Education, 97% marks in Mathematics, Punjabi, Information Practices & Economics, 96% marks in Chemistry, Biology, 95% marks in Accountancy & Business Studies, 94% marks in Physics.

The Director of Academy, Sukhjinder Singh congratulated the students, parents and the staff of the Academy saying, “The credit for the marvellous result goes to teachers, students and the parents due to their team work, potential and support as they left no stone unturned in their efforts.” Principal of the Academy Mr. Rajan Chopra congratulated the students and said, “Hard-work and commitment towards goals is the only way to achieve success”. He also briefed the students about their responsibilities towards parents and society. He advised them to develop all-round personality to tackle future challenges also. He assured the parents to give marvellous results in future also.
