Ropar: July 13, 2020 - The students of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy (Residential School), Roopnagar have won laurels in CBSE XII (Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce & Arts) 2019-20 and has shown an excellent result in the area. 

Overall Miss Khushi Kathuria bagged first position scoring 97.8% marks, Miss Mandeep Kaur Saini bagged second position scoring 97% marks, Miss Ishreen Kaur bagged third position scoring 95.8% marks and Mr. Soham Dass bagged fourth position scoring 95.4% marks. The stream wise positions are as follows: 

Miss Khushi Kathuria bagged first position scoring 97.8% marks, Mr. Soham Dass bagged second position scoring 95.4% marks, Mr Harsimran and Mr Banpreet Singh bagged third position scoring 94.8% marks in Science Stream.  

Miss Mandeep Kaur Saini bagged first position scoring 97% marks, Miss Anjanpreet Kaur and Miss Avinashdeep Kaur bagged second position scoring 94% marks, Miss Sukhmehak Kaur and Miss. Aarti Rana bagged third position scoring 93.2% marks in Humanities Stream. 

Miss Ishreen Kaur bagged first position scoring 95.8% marks, Miss Surbhi Jain bagged second position scoring 94.2% marks, Miss Sanya Vasudeva and Mr. Harshdeep Singh bagged third position scoring 92.2% marks, Miss Mehakpreet Kaur bagged fourth position scoring 90.8% marks in Commerce Stream. The overall pass percentage is 98%. 

The Director of Academy, Sukhjinder Singh congratulated the students, parents and the staff of the Academy saying, “The credit for the marvellous result goes to teachers, students and the parents due to their team work, potential and support as they left no stone unturned in their efforts.” Principal of the Academy Mr. Rajan Chopra congratulated the students and said, “Hard-work and commitment towards goals is the only way to achieve success”. He also briefed the students about their responsibilities towards parents and society. He advised them to develop all-round personality to tackle future challenges also. He assured the parents to give marvellous results in future also.
